IMCA ARIZONA MODIFIED TOUR KICKS OFF THIS WEEKadmin
San Tan Valley, Ariz. (2/3/2019) – The 2019 IMCA Arizona Modified Tour begins the 10 day swing at Arizona Speedway this weekend Feb. 7, 8 and 9. More than 170 drivers have pre entered to compete in one of the largest two division mini series in the nation. Arizona Speedway will host the first two rounds this Friday and Saturday night. Teams then travel to Central Arizona Speedway, Canyon Speedway Park and the newly remodeled and reopened USA Raceway in Tucson, AZ to compete in a total of 7 nights of racing with 3 practice sessions in a 10 day period. The top IMCA Modified and Sport Mod teams in the country all travel west to claim the first championship of the 2019 season.
Action begins at 6:30pm both Friday and Saturday at Arizona Speedway with grandstands opening at 4:00pm both evenings and pits opening at 1:00pm both evenings. Cost for admission just $20 for all adults, kids 11 and under are free. Pit passes $35 both nights, kids 7-11 pit passes $10 and kids 6 and under free. Thursday night Feb. 7 will consist of practice from 6:00pm-9:00 cost is $25 per person in pits.
