Keyser Manfacturing, Black Diamond/Club 29 make 2018 Wild West Shootout extra-lucrative for Super Late Modelsadmin
SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. (Nov. 15, 2017) — Super Late Model drivers will chase more than just purse money during the Jan. 6-14 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway.
The extra incentives for the competitors in the full-bodied division start, of course, with the Keyser Quarter-Million Challenge, which for the third straight year offers a blockbuster $250,000 bonus to a driver who sweeps all six features thanks to the support of the Coopersville, Mich.-based Keyser Manufacturing. In addition, winning five of six features will again earn a racer an extra $100,000, capturing four races offers a $25,000 prize and, for the first time, three triumphs will provide a driver a bonus of $10,000.
Black Diamond and Club 29 Race Cars, meanwhile, has signed on as the backer of the Wild West Shootout Super Late Model points fund. The champion of the miniseries will receive $3,000 from a total of $10,000 shared among the top 10 finishers in the standings.
The 2018 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts will pay out over $200,000 in purses over six nights of Super Late Model, USRA Modified and X-Mod racing. Tripleheaders are set for Jan. 6, 7, 10, 12, 13 and 14 at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway.
