ASCS Southwest Region Wing Sprint Cars are set for this Saturday night along with the IMCA Modifieds, Sport Mods, Pure Stocks and Robert Horne Ford Bombers. IMCA Modifieds and Sport Mods will wrap up their IMCA points season at the speedway on Saturday night. After a fantastic season the also included last weeks sensational IMCA Supernationals performance Chas Baca Jr will look to carry his 22 point lead into an IMCA Modified Championship this Saturday night as he stands atop a 22 point lead over Tyler Mecl and 46 points over veteran racer Rob Colclasure in third .
With 4 wins at the speedway on the season for Chase Alves, he also can capture the 2018 IMCA Sport Mod title by making the main event as he holds a 17 point lead over second place Mark Harrison and third place Jason George.
Pure stocks will remain a race to watch as the season long battle between Larry Brigner and Kevin Parker now sets at a 1 point gap coming into the event. Last weekends 1/2 finish for the pair tightened that gap.
